Samsung will soon unveil its two new foldables: the much-anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 are eager to show us what they are made of. With all the recent excitement surrounding Google's announcement of the Pixel Fold, it is high time Samsung came up with something impressive. That is why they are organising the well-known Unpacked Event a lot earlier than usual. In past years, Samsung introduced its latest Galaxy Z models in August, but so this year that will change. The launch of the Fold 5 and Flip 5 is scheduled for the end of July, two weeks earlier than usual. This news has also been picked up by leading Korean medium Chosun. We think it's going to be a spectacular unveiling of Samsung's revolutionary foldables!
Reason for bringing it forward not entirely clear
If you are a Samsung fan, you should already clear space in your diary for 26 July, as it seems Samsung is about to unveil its latest foldables on that day. Sales will then start on 11 August.
According to insiders, this early launch is not intended to compete directly with the Pixel Fold, as previously suggested. Instead, Samsung intends to boost its numbers in the third quarter. Whether this is really the reason we will probably never know. Reportedly, the new Galaxy Z models will again feature a Qualcomm processor made by rival TSMC.

There are already many reliable rumours about the specifications of Samsung's new foldable device. The screen type is AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120Hz for smooth images. The always-on display means you will always have instant access to information. The rear camera is likely to get 3 lenses and will be supported by a dual LED flash for beautiful pictures.
